Effective abs exercise?
Please recommend some WORKED or effective abs exercises

I want six pack abs...any suggestions?
This is serious. I want to develop a six pack or at least some good abs. I need some help drawing up a good workout plan. I can't get to a gym right now but I still want to do it. Here's my specifics. I'm Male White 22 years old 6ft tall 165lbs 12 % body fat 35 inch stomach circumference 30 inch waist pants size I run on a treadmill 4 5 times a week for 30 minutes each time at 4mph I do some situps and pushups but without someone to help I'm mostly just working the thigh muscles by sticking them under a couch to hold them down. I can tell I have ab muscles, but they are under a small layer of stomach fat. Nothing substantial. I have mostly broken my snacking habits. So that's not a big issue. My eating is not an issue that is mainly under control. I may need to count calories. If I can.I just need to work off that last little bit of stomach fat and replace it with muscle and form a six pack or some good abs. My question is what can I do to build defined abs. Is there stuff I can do inside my house exercises that will work or do I need to go out and do some intense working out such as manual labor, as in lifting? If so what kind? I need either a plan of action or some sites that will tell me what to do and you think will have pretty sure fire results.THANK YOU for any help. Please don't make any jokes or troll comments. I really am serious about this.I'm thinking of getting some home workout equipment such as a bow flex. Is that a good idea??I can't rely on getting equipment. So please don't base any answer around me getting such equipment. Maybe make it part of the answer but not dependent on my having equipment.ALSO I might join a gym if I get the money and time. People say Planet Fitness is a bad place cause of the " Lunk Alarm" thing, some people say if you get a steady workout going the alarm goes off and you get kicked out cause you can't help but grunt sometimes...is any of this true?? Cause I have a PF around the corner from where I live and I want to know if it's a good bad idea to join there.Just so you all know. I have posted this question before. The answers I got led me to believe I should trim of the last of my stomach fat so abs would actually be visible. I sort of knew this already. But it was the kick in the pants I needed to actually do it. I had been running on my treadmill every day for 30mins at 4mph, and it kept off the high school weight I lost. But I want to take it a step further and actually get in shape. So I amped it up to 4.5. And the fat is coming off. I'd say another month or so and it'll be off. BUT HERE's MY PROBLEM. What if there isn't that much muscle under there? What if I'm just stringy and skinny after the fat's gone?? True I'll be in better shape. But I'll still be frustrated. I want actual muscle and just losing the fat...I have a strong suspicion that won't be enough. I mean I don't want to be totally ripped. I'm being realistic. In my situation, that would be near impossible to maintain. I just want a basic six pack.

How to get toned abs?
what are some exercises i can do to work off the littl bit of belly fat that i have, tighten up the skin after having my baby, and getting more defined abs? i already do the " bicycle" thing every morning and every night, any other suggestions. i am not expecting a miracle, to do it in a week, but what are some good exercises to help me reach my goals?

Why can't I suck in my stomach after getting abs?
A couple weeks ago I started doing sit ups like CRAZY. I had no abs whatsoever. I could suck in my stomach really far to the point where you could see each line on my ribs.I have abs now, and everytime I suck in my stomach it can baraly go in. I wanted abs to be skinnier but now I feel fatter... please help Please just don't tell me I'm not fat... I need an answer.

Do i need to workout abs everyday?
because if i do this i think my workout will be way too long as i will do for example chest and triceps plus abs on one day...so my workout will be more than 2 hours and not to mention how tired i would be to do abs...so right now i do abs with legs once every 6 days with 2 days rest included in the six days...what do u think i should do...i find it strange how people manage to do abs everyday??

Does abs roller/wheel make your boobs shink? ?
I'm talking about for women since it also works on your shoulders n upper part of the body. I tried the abs roller for a few days and noticed that it requires lots of strength from my arms n shoulders. I'm concerned if keep doing it will make my breasts smaller?

Need a toned male stomach / abs?
Im 15, male and currently about 123lbs give or take one pound , 5ft 6.I've calculated my body fat to be 13 %. Im a cyclist so i need to be light anyway.I get a dinner belly, but when i havnt eaten for a few hours i've got a nice stomach.Do I need to lose a bit of weight to get a toned stomach?And also, whats the easiest way? best workouts, movements e.g. holding weights whilst crunching or is an ab machine ideal? I have access to a gym, no problem at all .Also, what exercises are best for toning losing belly fat? for example, running, cross training?Breakfasts? I usually have a large bowl of porridge but I might cut it down to provide space for the smaller meals without putting on excess calories.And lastly, depending on what workouts I should do, when should I do them, how long, how many reps sets? First thing, before breakfast, last thing before sleep, an hour or two after a light meal?Thank you for your help, will give 5stars for the best answer that is thorough and informative.

How long until I see my abs?
I currently weigh about 165 and I am 5'3. If I press down on my Ab region I can feel muscle, so at what weight should I be able to visabley see my abs? What should I eat to help my abs grow more muscle? An what exercices should I do? I am 13 years old. Thanks. also I'm a guy .

Will doing muay Thai three times a week give me weight lose and abs fast?
If I wake up in the morning around 8am eat breakfast. Eat around 500 cals I think is the right amount for breakfast . Wait for an hour then go do about an 2 hour and 30 Mon 9am 12pm, tues and Friday 9am 11am and 1 hour and 30 Wes,Thurs 9am 10 30 . Then come back home and eat lunch at 12pm. Eat around 450 cals for lunch. Wait for an hour then go do some more muay Thai. Mon,Wes,thru 12 30 2 30, tues 12 30 2, fri 1 2 30. Then go back home and do something else until dinner I eat around 350 cals. Then later some nights run on the treadmill for 30mins other nights go to mma lessons for 3 hours. Will this schedule give me abs by losing weight fast?

My upper abs are sore after doing 7 minutes of abs?(not my obliques or lower abs are sore)?
With exercises that target the lower abs, upper abs, and obliques. Am I doing them wrong if my upper abs are only sore? The lower abs, near my stomach, don't hurt at all. I just came off a sports season and I'm just doing abs because I want to get toned.

I can only see my upper abdominal 2 pack abs not the rest?
i can only see my upper abdominal muscles and not the rest and i train all of them. does this mean i have a high bodt fat %. what can i do so i can see my six pack

im 18 yrs old and i've been working out for my abs for a month and now i can see the positive results..i got the abs but the problem is tht the 6 packs are formed in very small area..the last 2 ABS are not even close to my belly button..am i doing something wrong.? flickr.com photos 77199557 N05 6776152130 in photostream...i want those abs to extend till the belly BOTTOM...i really hate this kind of abs , plz tell me what i should do to pull my abs downwards....
